As part of a capstone project for an undergraduate's degree, the Rtsm Manifesto was a course designed and tought by Susanne Manhiemer, former chair of the Graphic Design program at The Art Institute of California- Los Angeles.

              The objective of the publication was to create a booklet with a simplified, but detailed account of the fundamentals of graphic design. The aesthetic design of the publication followed the strict rule of only using Helvetica and the iconic graphics and symbols of TheNounProject.com.
